LCG Workbook Licensing Terms
Leadership Capital Group (LCG)
Effective date: 9 October 2026
These terms govern the purchase and use of digital workbooks and related intellectual property made available by Leadership Capital Group (“LCG”). Different rights apply to individual purchases and corporate AI licences.
1. Individual Workbook Licence
When purchasing an individual workbook, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal professional use.
The licence permits the named individual purchaser to:
-
Read and study the workbook.
-
Use its concepts, questions and exercises for their own professional development and reference.
-
Apply the learning in their own work, within the limits of these terms.
The individual licence does not permit the customer to:
-
Upload, ingest or incorporate the workbook into an AI agent, large language model (LLM), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system or other AI-enabled knowledge system.
-
Share the workbook or provide access to it to colleagues, clients, employees or other third parties.
-
Reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, publish or commercially exploit the workbook.
-
Use the workbook as an organisational resource or deploy it across a team, company or client engagement without the appropriate licence.
An individual purchase does not grant corporate, team-wide, training-provider or AI-system usage rights.
2. Corporate AI Licence
Organisations wishing to use LCG workbooks within AI agents or other AI-enabled systems must obtain a separate written corporate AI licence from LCG.
Subject to the specific licence agreement and payment of the applicable fee, the corporate licence may permit the organisation to:
-
Use the licensed workbooks with AI agents and platforms within the agreed scope.
-
Make the licensed material available to the authorised, named users covered by the agreement.
-
Use the material to support organisational decision-making, leadership development, governance, risk assessment and execution.
The applicable licence agreement will specify the licensed workbooks, permitted AI use, number of named users, organisational scope, licence period, fees and any additional restrictions.
A corporate AI licence does not transfer ownership of the workbooks or the underlying LCG intellectual property to the licensee.
3. Named Users and Organisational Scope
Corporate licences are limited to the number of named users and the organisational scope specified in the relevant agreement.
The licensee must not share access beyond the authorised user group, exceed the agreed licence scope or make licensed materials available to unauthorised third parties.
Any expansion in the number of users, business units, legal entities or permitted uses requires LCG's written approval and may require an additional fee.
4. Licence Expiry and Termination
When a corporate AI licence expires or is terminated, the licensee must stop using the licensed materials in accordance with the licence agreement.
Unless the written agreement states otherwise, the licensee must remove the licensed workbooks and associated stored content from active AI systems, knowledge bases, RAG indexes, embeddings and other systems in which the material has been incorporated. The licensee must also stop providing AI-generated access to or use of the licensed material.
Where technical limitations prevent immediate deletion from backups or third-party systems, the licensee must take reasonable steps to prevent further use and complete deletion in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
Renewal is subject to agreement with LCG.
5. Intellectual Property
All workbooks, frameworks, methodologies, assessments, questions, models, written content and related intellectual property remain the property of LCG or its respective rights holders.
No ownership rights are transferred through the purchase of an individual workbook or the grant of a corporate licence.
Except for the rights expressly granted in writing, all rights are reserved.
6. No Unauthorised Redistribution or Commercial Exploitation
Customers must not reproduce, adapt, translate, publish, sell, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit LCG materials beyond the rights expressly granted by LCG in writing.
Any use by consultants, advisers, trainers, educational providers, licensing partners or other third parties on behalf of clients or participants requires the appropriate written permission or licence.
7. Responsible Use
LCG workbooks are designed to support professional judgement, leadership, governance and decision-making. They do not replace independent professional advice, legal advice, regulatory interpretation or the responsibilities of company directors and executives.
The customer remains responsible for decisions made using the materials or any AI system incorporating licensed content.
8. Acceptance and Contact
By purchasing an individual workbook, the customer confirms acceptance of the applicable individual licence terms. Corporate AI use requires a separate corporate licence.
